Send Money Overseas' payment and foreign currency exchange services are provided by Sciopay Ltd, The Currency Cloud Limited and CurrencyCloud B.V. We shall place you with the most appropriate provider, for your specific needs, and you shall be informed of the provider at the time of account opening. If in any doubt as to who your payment provider is, then please contact us at info@sendmoney-overseas.com.

For clients based in the European Economic Area, payment services for Send Money Overseas Ltd are usually provided by CurrencyCloud B.V. Registered in the Netherlands No. 72186178. Registered Office: Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 296 - 298, Mindspace Nieuwezijds Office 001 Amsterdam. CurrencyCloud B.V. is authorised by the DNB under the Wet op het financieel toezicht to carry out the business of an electronic-money institution (Relation Number: R142701).

For clients based in the United Kingdom and rest of the world, payment services (Non MIFID related products) for Send Money Overseas Ltd are usually provided by The Currency Cloud Limited. Registered in England and Wales No. 06323311. Registered Office: Stewardship Building 1st Floor, 12 Steward Street London E1 6FQ. The Currency Cloud Limited is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 for the issuing of electronic money (FRN: 900199).

                                         SAFEGUARDING YOUR FUNDS

When funds are posted to your Currencycloud LTD, Currencycloud B.V. or Sciopay account, e-money is issued in exchange for these funds, by an Electronic Money Institution who we work with; namely Currencycloud and Sciopay. In line with regulatory requirements, Currencycloud and Sciopay directly safeguards your funds. This means that the money behind the balance you see in your account is held at a reputable banks, and most importantly, is protected for you in the event of Currencycloud’s, Sciopay or our, insolvency (as appropriate). Currencycloud and Sciopay stops safeguarding your funds when the money has been paid out of your account to your beneficiary’s account.

                                                  COMPLAINTS POLICY

1.1 Resolving Your Complaint
If you have a complaint, please speak to us first to see if we can resolve the issue promptly. We aim to address concerns without the need for further action from you.

1.2 How to Complain
1.2.1 Submitting a Complaint
If you wish to make an official complaint, you can email us at info@sendmoney-overseas.com. While complaints can also be made via phone, it is generally best to put them in writing so that you have a record of your concerns.

1.3 What Happens Next?
1.3.1 Acknowledgment
A member of our team will confirm receipt of your complaint via email within 24 hours of receiving it and will aim to resolve the issue within three (3) business days.

1.3.2 Resolution Timeframe
We strive to resolve your complaint and provide a “final response” letter within fifteen (15) business days of receiving your complaint. In exceptional circumstances, this process may take up to thirty-five (35) business days. If an extension is required, we will send you a letter explaining the delay and providing a deadline for the final response.

1.4 The Final Response
1.4.1 Referral to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS)
If you are dissatisfied with our final response, you may have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) if you qualify as an eligible complainant.

1.4.3 Time Limit for FOS Complaints
Please note that you will usually need to refer a complaint to the FOS within six months of the date of our final response.

1.5 Our Payment and E-Money Partners
We work with e-money and payment institution partners to provide our services, including Currencycloud and Sciopay. In most cases, Currencycloud ultimately provides you with payment and e-money services, while Sciopay may also facilitates payment and e-money services (depending on your specific currency exchange requirements, if more suitable for you). You will be notified at the time of account opening as to which provider you have been placed with.

As regulated financial institutions, they have certain obligations regarding complaints.We keep these partners informed about complaints we receive concerning the regulated payment and e-money services they provide. They oversee our complaint-handling processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
